Comparative Study Regarding the Extracurricular Sports Activity among Primary and Middle Schoolers

The extracurricular sports activity among schooler children plays a significant role in the elimination of their sedentary behaviour. purpose this study was to analyse on sample 408 students aspects related following: body mass index (BMI), type physical activities practiced, parameters efforts made, level performance attained and access bases. subjects within research were divided into 4 groups: female primary schoolers (FP, n=126, 9.83 ±1.30 years old), male (MP, n=103, 10,04 ± 1.22 middle (FM, n=98, 12.40 1.36 old) (MM, n=81, 12.22 1.33 old). underwent anthropometric interrogative analyses, through survey method. By using Anova One – Way (p˂0.05), we obtained differences BMI between FP- MM, MP–MM FM–MM. preferred differentiated MP last group being centred cyclical activities. duration session presents FM. weekly frequency annual durationof features similar level. volume is BP FG. different FM MM. Consequently, it may be stated that preferences regarding are practiced with 8 months per year, 3 times week, each lasting for 90 minutes, while natureis at leisure level, too.
